If it were slightly above $1000, say $1200; I would have rushed to my AD to buy one. Unfortunately it is $9000. Considering you can get a holy trinity pocket watch with gold case for less than that, I find the price absurd.

A Citizen pocket for $ 9000, that's really crazy, with just 100 made,I would say most will be bought or offered to people very close to to the brand.
As you mentioned, for half the price you can easily find a gold Patek Philippe.
