Picked this up today and was convinced the crystal was cracked. Watch was a bit dirty but running. Picked up from antique shop for slightly less than 100.00. Took it home, buffed the crystal and popped on a #montreux strap I won from #wrongtimewatch on YouTube. Looks awesome

Bro, that dial is so 80s, I freakin love this watch. Great pickup, awesome GMT for $100!!!! How does the inner GMT bezel turn?

Position 0(crown all the way in) On the crown turns it omnidirectional. I think this is actually from the 70s but I love the look and I'm happy I don't need to spend another 30.00 on a crystal.

Polywatch can work miracles on older crystals. I’m jealous, vintage Seiko is the best.

About 15 minutes with some sandpaper (800-5000) and poly watch but yes it was an amazing result. This was a very lucky find. I've been in that shop a dozen times over the past year and nothing. Then BOOM!
Congrats! Been trying to find one on original bracelet. A friend has one but won't sell it to me 😂
Nice good pickup.

Unfortunately the bracelet was a speidel. I'd buy an original bracelet but they are super pricey and the Montreux strap looks amazing.
