Towards the end of my career I needed a robust, fast vehicle that wouldn't matter if it got damaged. To my delight, I found a Mercedes 500 SL... a so-called "flying brick". This nickname absolutely suited the car. A very powerful, small tank for civilian traffic. When I bought this car, the dealer gave me an extra treat by giving me a "Mercedes-Benz wristwatch". Until then, I didn't know that Mercedes-Benz also has its own watch collections.
The wristwatch for men is equipped with a stainless steel case with polished and matt surfaces and is designed in the colors silver and blue. A curved mineral glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides reveals the silver-colored dial, which is differentiated from one another by different cuts and embossing. The filigree "Clous de Paris" embossing in the center of the dial is particularly elegant and is complemented by the historic Mercedes star at the 12 o'clock mark. The blue-colored hands are treated with Super-LumiNova® luminous material, making it easy to read the time even in the dark. In addition to a date display at the level of the 3:00 o'clock mark, there is also a shifted second hand near the 6:00 o'clock position on the dial. The classically elegant men's watch has a black calfskin strap with a pin buckle.
The watch has a diameter of 41mm and is 8.5mm thick. It is waterproof up to 5 ATM and is powered by a quartz movement, the RONDA slimtech with caliber 1019.
