I’ve previously owned a 556i, 104 St Sa and U1, all solidly built as you would expect from Sinn. The U50 is the culmination of my experience with the brand and is such a joy to own and wear. It has similar dimensions to my Sub 16800 and yet dramatically more robust. The design language is iconic Sinn. Wishing everyone a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

I’m really trying to figure out my relationship with Sinn. I’ve got complaints regarding crown placement and those square hands. And yet…
I find that I keep going back to look at them. I love the solid, German-ass build of them. I love the use of ridiculous steel which is then hardened through some weird alchemical process. But those hands…

No a Lego kid huh? Kidding. The whole package of the watch just screams overly and purposely built. Case shape, crown placement, legibility and yes the hands. German watches can be a little cold but this one has a lot going for it especially its visual design. Quit fussing about and try one.
Damn that is a great watch. I was debating between this and the Seiko SLA049 earlier this year and ended up going for the Seiko. You are making me question that decision

@Badgerracer Let me help you out a little bit.
I love mine as well. This is a watch I am keeping.
I have a few Sinn's already but there is always room for one more 😜
I've got my eye on the EZM 3F, love Sinn watches, over engineered toolness at it's best 🤣

I’ve eyed this exact model a few times and almost pulled the trigger. I ended up with the 104 instead which in hindsight was too polished for my taste and moved it on. I may have to look into the EZM 3F again.

I did exactly the same thing, purchased the ST104 RSi and flipped it because of all the high polished surfaces. That's what make me look at the EZM
