Not what I ordered but...

So I decided that I wanted to try a 36mm watch but did not want to spend a lot. I found this Addiesdive on Amazon for $63 after a 20% discount. Seems like a well specd watch for the money and was next day delivery. Just received the watch and was super excited to share my NWA with WatchCrunch.

Looking good so far right?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nope, not the right watch! What do you think? Return it or just roll with it? I could also save up a little more and order the AD2030 again?

I’d say return it IF they pay the shipping. I like the original watch much better than the one sent, but that’s just my personal opinion!!

Me personally I would complain and make them pay for the return postage and get the one you ordered, the reason for this is they will discount this incorrect watch for you, I’ve had 50% knocked off watches because it’s too much trouble to return! 👍🏻

You can then reorder the one you wanted and have the one you wanted plus this watch at half price 😉👌🏻

For $63 bucks you got a STEEL!!! Especially if that's an NH34 GMT and not the Pearl DG movement.

It would be a free return. I would just have to bring it to an Amazon drop off.

Unfortunately, it is a quartz movement.

Can you reach out to the seller directly and ask them to help you out before pulling the trigger on the free Amazon return? Like some others mentioned, maybe they can get you the watch you want + some additional discounts to save them (and you) the trouble.

·

Tell them they have sent you the wrong watch, you never know they might let you keep this one and send you the correct one. Has happened to me a few times but on cheaper items.

Oh DAMN! Return that SHIT!!! 🤣😂

Return if it's not the one you want. I have both of them and they have been great companions. Choice is yours in the end.

Ahh sorry my mistake for some reason I thought you bought it direct from China ie Aliexpress which is what I do and that is how I have achieved a good discount, however I have recieved discounts from Amazon for their errors in the past. It’s always worth asking !

No worries. I tried to play every angle with Amazon but all I can do is return the incorrect watch. No big deal really. I ordered another correct addiesdive and should have it soon. I hope that one is correct. Stay tuned!

So I ordered the AD2030 again. I have 30 days to decide if the Tudor copy gets returned or not. We shall see!

Apologies if you already do but…Have you tried ordering direct from Aliexpress ( China its where’s this brand comes from) just download the app and login in its a watch lovers heaven got straps, parts, watches etc 👍🏻

And it’s cheaper with a lot of items with free shipping!

Honestly I haven't looked at aliexpress for anything since it was called alibaba. I suppose after 15 or so years I could give them another shot. 🤣
