Travel Pouch by Nostime

Traveling with several watches has always been a problem for me. In the past, I’ve tried wrapping them in tissue, stuffing them in socks and even tried traveling with the box the watch came in. Many options on the market seem too large, too bulky or simply don’t have the right aesthetics.

A few months ago, I discovered the Duo Pouch for two watches by Nostime. Nostime is a vintage watch dealer based in Seoul, South Korea. They recently collaborated with a local leathersmith to create the Duo Pouch. I was traveling to Europe for a few weeks and would visit several countries. During this time, I’d be meandering the street markets, taking on some al fresco dining and even attending a wedding amongst other random adventures. Given the different occasions, I knew I had to pack at least two watches with me.

The pouch is simple and elegant and made of grained calfskin sourced from various European tanneries. The slate blue pouch that I purchased is made of grained calfskin from Germany. The suede lined interior has two very solid elastic straps to hold the watches securely and a middle suede strap prevents the watches from having any contact with each other. After eight weeks of use, the zipper is still smooth like butter. The pouch fits all the watches in my collection with the exception of the behemoth Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe. I can imagine the same result with most Panerai models. Anything smaller (or more conventional sizing 😀) would comfortably and snugly rest within the pouch.

Traveling on planes, trains and buses, this pouch was comfortable to carry throughout the trip. This pouch will surely see many more miles.

Nostime provides international shipping. If you are ever visiting Seoul, I would encourage you to visit the showroom to see some of their amazing vintage pieces on display. Send me a note and I might even join you on your visit.

I have the same problem with my bell and ross , fitting in my travel box

I would typically just wear the larger watch when traveling and then swap it out as I go.

Thanks for sharing.

I normally travel with 3 watches; 1 on the wrist and 2 in a Watch Pod that I place in my carry-on. As you have mentioned, some products are too large and too bulky and I would place the Watch Pod in that category. My carry-on is already overstuff with 2 laptops and documents so it can be hard to find a good spot to place the Watch Pod. The solution that you show here seem to address this problem. I have bookmark the website for a future purchase.
