Why would you focus time and energy on exploring something you find tacky in a world where there are so many opportunities to explore that which pleases you?

Marketing stunt.
This brand was very common on European online shopping channels during Covid. That pretty much says it all.
P.S.: I watch these channels purely for entertainment purposes.
I resized a bracelet on a "gold" coloured chrono piece for a friend that he recieved at Xmas, i wasn’t impressed with it at all…….

And why do you concern yourself with the decisions of other people? I would tell the friend to enjoy the watch and that's it.
If he/she asked for your opinion and then decided against it, it's his/her decision and it's to be respected as such.
