About 6 years ago I was ready to purchase a hydroconquest for my 30th birthday. I was disappointed with the bezel alignment and the quality of the bracelet and put me off the hydroconquests. But it seems that longines has come a long way since then and has come out with some great watches. Their heritage pieces are the best in their line up. Have seriously contemplated getting the spirit 37mm, but the L2L is still a tad long. The 39mm Zulu time are great too, for a GMT.
