My lifestyle doesn't require a G-Shock as a beater. I work a desk job, and I don't have any hobbies that are likely to destroy a watch. (I've gone boulder scrambling during a few hikes in the mountains, but that's about as rough as it got during the past couple years.)
Therefore, I will wear either a Komandirskie or an Amphibia as my daily watch if it's potentially going to experience some degree of abuse. They were originally designed during the Soviet era as military watches, so they can take an appropriate level of abuse.
I'm wearing an Amphibia today on a canvas strap:
I change out the straps and bezels on my watches about once a week or so, so I can milk a lot of different looks out of the same few watches.

Awesome watch, was gonna say that "Сделано в СССР" doesn't stand for nothing hah.
I like how you pair it with the red rubber strap👍🏻
To your question, theres no such watch called daily beater within my collection, but if i am out and about, knowing i might be having my wrist knockin around, i would put on a gshock square / some german watches with harden coating on the watch case.
Yea, even my vostoks dont get to experience too much beatings lol
I haven't really got a beater watch. If I think I'm going to do something that might damage a watch then I take it off for the duration. As for my job; white collar inspection/audit work so never use my hands, just need a clipboard and pen. So I pretty much wear all my watches in rotation whenever.
My current daily beater is a seiko 6458-6000. Great size, light and tough enough to survive my work as a Technician working in a historic building. Generally I prefer a quartz, as a few have mentioned...the F91 is probably the perfect beater! Hard to kill and cheap to replace if you do!

Can't go wrong with a G Shock. My beater watch is a GWM5610. I have been thinking about getting a GM2100, but that would not be a beater watch. 😀
DW5600 for the day, A700 for the night (beacuse it is smaller and lighter).

GM2100 is a great watch, I would totally recommend it, but totally not a beater as you said haha

The f91w for me, does everything and more that I need for a beater watch.
The Baby G (BGA225G-2A) is my beater watch. Though I rarely require a beater now. And I had moved on from Gshocks and to Seiko 😂

I really do not have a beater but when i go paddling I take the Duro
The bad boy or his mate
Can't go wrong with the Casio Duro pure beater even Bill Gates wears this

Eco-zilla!
F91W! Tried using my G Shock but always find it quite bulky as I work with my hands. (Also didn’t really want to “beat“ it….)
Wanted something I could really abuse and not care about. The £9.99 classic comes out on top!

I rotate all my pieces so each would have their wrist time. For tough jobs and less worry, I wear my Casioak or my square Gshock.

The EcoZilla is good for both taking a beating, and administering a beating!😉
The ecozilla is certainly not a dress watch ha ha, I can picture all the dress watch aficionados sweating and feeling faint when they see it.
Even though I originally bought my Orient Mako 2 with the intention of having it as a beater, it's such a nice watch I'd have to say my G-Shock GD350.
I'm not really into the idea of a beater. I'd rather wear what i'm feeling and take the watch off if the activity is too rough
