Tissot PRX POWERMATIC 80 - Green dial

This watch is an absolute stunner, I know this has been said many times already by many people, but until you hold one in the flesh, you can't see its whole beauty.

The dial changes its color from green to dark blue/black depending on the light, giving me the ultimate watch nerd chills.

You've captured the color change in this pic. The right is green & the left is black

noice. i got the green dial as well

"but until you hold one in the flesh..." I was going for a quartz in green and 35mm. but this green dial was so deep and sometimes black! I can use it with many colors. So I got it! Powermatic is running +1 sec a day, almost perfect!

I've got the blue waffle dial. Love the blue waffle dial. Would not trade it for anything. But I also love the green waffle dial. I want the green waffle dial. But even in my current irrational, fever-pitch buy-everything-I-see addicted state of collecting watches, I simply can't rationalize having 2 of the same watch just for the different color dials. What to do? I need therapy.

I absolutely love mine..got the blue waffle dial, as well..I don't want to upset anyone or start a big argument but the rumors going around that it cannot be serviced or regulated unless you send it to tissot..I have 2 watchmakers who have regulated a Patek Phillipe and my FAVORITE A. Lange & Sohne ...SWATCHGROUP wants everything done there which is understandable but not completely honest..in addition to my 2 watchmakers here in Westport, Connecticut I have 2 more watch repair experts watchmakers in sandy hook, Ct.;who also said they are familiar with the movement and it most certainly can be both serviced and regulated.. And finally there seems to be a BUZZ going around and reviewers are stating the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 is a disposable watch..do not believe this for one, single second ..They are full of shit..Why would a company as well respected and such awesome history as tissot be stupid enough to make a disposable watch even one that is only $675 ?
