I love my Seaweed😍
It’s a great watch and strongly recommend it.
But I’m a bit concerned with your versatility question.
This is all subjective but it’s for me not really versatile.
It’s not so much the colour (it’s pretty dark and look more like black in many situations like the photo below, my favourite angle) as the style of the watch.
On one hand, it’s impossible to dress up (for me.) I’m conservative when it comes to pairing watch to clothing. I’ll only wear this with casual clothing.
On the other hand, it’s too beautiful to use as a tool watch. I just feel I need to baby it. I never wear it hiking/backpacking although I know it can handle it. I take Explorer 2 instead.
So it doesn’t enjoy as much wrist time as it should but it makes me happy when I put it on🥰
Having said all this, I would still recommend you go ahead and get it if you love it after trying it on.
My experience tells me I’m happier with watches that I simply fell in love with than ones I thought would tick more boxes.
I like both and it seems I’m not a minority 😁

As you will buy both at the end, I would probably consider the following and decide which one to get first;
Likely to increase the price more
Unlikely to be updated before your second purchase
I don’t have the answers to those questions though. Someone here might.
And you might want to decide what strap you want first before buying a clasp.
Depending on the combination of watch’s lug width and the width of the clasp, you may have hard time to find an off the shelf strap that works with both.
For example, I ended up having to custom order a strap for my JLC Geographic because of the unusual combination of lug width and clasp width.
They are all single fold.
It’s hard to determine how they work with those pictures without straps attached but my guess is;
The first one seems like the excess strap goes outside. Cartier one I got with my Santos, the excess strap goes inside.
The second and the third, I can’t see where the excess strap could go with these. Maybe they are for bracelets, not straps…….
The first one is the Omega type.
I don't have any experience with the other two.
