Timex's 1994 Smart Watch

I came across this video randomly and found it quite intesting.

And after a search on Ebay, they do have several Timex Data Link watches listed.

Pretty cool tech for the time. Makes me think it's akin to the Duck Hunt, R.O.B. NES, etc. tech.

Part of me wishes they would do a re-release and have it usable with an app. Or maybe include a feature where they could interact with other Data Links. I know there's Bluetooth and all that jazz, but there's something about a retro technology that kind of acts like passing a note rather than sending a text in a way.

You never know what you're gonna find and it's amazing what cutting edge was 30 years ago

I was surprised by it. I love Timex, and I'm still surprised at things they've done during their history with innovation.

Big Timex fan here. I've have Timex watches since I was a child and currently have 4 that I wear on a regular basis.
