Size question

Hey guys,

I know the image quality is bad. Sorry about that. I bought this cheap Casio to see if this size sits well on my wrist. Is this watch to big? Casio MTP-V001

You're using it as a reference for a different watch? I think that size case is sort of being saved by the short lugs. If the other watch has the same size case but longer lugs, it would be really pushing it, imo.

It looks like a bigger watch but seems to fit fine. No lug overhang so it looks fine.

But that watch isn't an MTP-V001.

It’s MTP not MTO

I want to get a seiko 5 snkl15 white dial. It’s 38.5 mm. Not sure how big this watch is.

Looks good 💯👍🏻

There we go.

This monster is 45mm. It is too big for almost anyone that does not have a medical growth condition or morbid obesity. Well, unless that is your style.

38.5mm is tamer. I'd approve of the SNKL41 as long as you're aware that you can't hand wind that watch.

Okay I agree I am overweight but even if I press my skin this is just how wide my bones are 😭

But it’s probably because I am fat. But I started to hit the gym 🙃

I am just biased against modern sizing and think that watches that cover almost all of the wrist are too big. You'll note that few agree with me.

·

Nahhhh ... looks fine IMHO ... I wear a 44mm Casio Duro on a 6-1/2" wrist and looks OK

·

Casio tends to keep their lugs short on their oddly large case watches. Your average 45mm case wouldn't fit you, I don't think, but this watch at 45mm case has a lug to lug that's only 2mm longer than my 38mm case Hamilton. The seiko you mentioned will fit just fine, but it won't really fit anything like this Casio.

So gents hers my final choice. I didn’t buy the seiko 5 but I am going to buy the Zepplin Hidenburg 7036-1
