Was originally looking for a Tank Louis, but stumbled upon this and forgot about the Tank immediately. Part of the fun of collecting is the thrill of the hunt…unless you’re dealing with incorrect listings and having your watch stuck in customs for 2 weeks. This is is the watch I wear when I’m around other watch snobs to let them know I’m not a basic bitch, even though I am.

That's a beauty, really nice dial - and yes a cut above the Cartier and more importantly it's different - and I do like the Cartier! I purchased a 1940 V&C tank for the Mrs and have a little chuckle when our friends bring out their DJs to try the one-upmanship (seriously, they all have the same watch in various references), and they haven't a clue about what she's wearing. We're happy to stay quiet about it. I'd probably be wearing my Poljot De Luxe to be contrary.
