Leather strap recommendations welcome

I would like to replace the bracelet on my blue dial GS, but I am having a hard time. The dial is a blue sunburst type. Depending on certain angles the dial colour would be different more purple and sometimes gray. My preference is not to have brown or tan colours.

Thanks.

Is that the GRAND SEIKO SBGX265? If so looking at one!, what's it like ??? Would also be interested what strap choices people recommend !

PS you need to do a review!

I buy Barton or Ritchie quick release straps on Amazon which come in all sorts of colorways. They're a low cost investment for high reward.

Started my research on a SBGX too, a review would be highly appreciated!

Check out Delugs.com. They have many, many, many straps to choose from, and even have a strap finder application that allows you to visualize what a given strap might look like on a given watch.

I tried Delugs before. Too bad you can’t insert other watch cases other than the ones on their list. But useful tool though.

Do you want subtle? Or in-your-face?

Recently, I've decided to go in-your-face, and their rust colored two-stitch crazy horse strap is absolutely awesome. Same with the mocha, but you said you didn't want brown or tan.

Their crazy horse straps are super, super luxurious feeling. Crazy horse typically makes a watch look more casual, and yet with Delugs, theirs seem to weirdly dress up watches! For a blue dial, if you want to go dressier, the saffiano straps really dress things up as well.

Well, I would say some suede straps would do the trick, and depending on your budget, you can go as wild as you want. Colour-wise, black, red, green, mustard and grey. Normal leather is fine too, but I am more into textures, so plain calf is a bit boring, IMHO.

My suppliers (full gamut, 3 French, 1 Chinese, 1 Japanese ),

https://www.jean-rousseau.com/fr/categorie-produit/les-bracelets/classique/3-5-fr/ (nice)

https://www.camillefournet.com/fr/38-bracelets-classiques (pricey and nice)

Thanks Danmerry for your recommendations. I love a strap with texture as well.

At the end, I went with someone local in Canada.

It took almost a month to arrive, but well worth the wait.

I chose a navy blue shark strap.

I think the strap matches well with my GS.

I love this GS. It is very comfortable to wear in my 6.2” wrist. After considering all the strap choices here, I went with someone local in Canada.

I chose something with textured as Danmerry suggested, a navy blue shark strap with an Omega style deployant clasp.

You can check the strap on my profile.
