Reminds me of a condensed version of the Froskemann strap buckle. Which is a favorite. I think they're out of business, so glad to see this style will be available

I’ll definitely be jumping on the Kickstarter. I have a bunch of your straps but found the dive series strap a little tight getting on my FXD. This looks like it will be even more FXD friendly, I love the titanium hardware, and interested to see how the new setup improves the experience

It's actually been a tradition of mine since the beginning to announce all of my releases on April Fool's day! In my mind, it always gave me an easy out if the feedback fell flat haha. But I've just kept doing it ever since. And I wasn't about to stop!

YES. The writing has been on the wall for some time that the FXD is a huge hit, and in dire need of great strap options. So now that the Hook is removable, the single layer of elastic can now effortlessly glide through any fixed bar spaces you have!

Thanks, Max! Yes indeed. Which is exactly why I have chosen the Kickstarter route for this one 😅; these tooling costs are no joke! And neither is the Titanium premium, but man is it all so worth it. Looking forward to your thoughts!

Cool! I'm vaguely familiar with the Froskemann design. But believe me when I say that this new Hook design was made in a vacuum of my own creation lol. It just builds off of what I've been using for years. And is now also patent pending!
Sure! At a passing glance, they share similarities (there are countless G-Hook designs out there). But the Chrono-Grip Hook has been painstakingly iterated on over 90 times and works based on a crazy tight tolerance of friction and biased elastic to maintain a super low profile.
