My most worn & most meaningful watches of 2023
I love watching these "Most Worn Watches of the Year" videos. It's interesting to listen to someone's story about why a particular watch (or any sentimental object for that matter) was especially significant to them during a certain time of their life, or just their reasons for why they love wearing it so much.
So when I saw this video from good ol' Teddy B. earlier today, I knew I had to make a post here on WC. Shoutout to @Max for his part in the video. 👍

So, here it goes. My most worn watch of 2023 is my square G-Shock.
I bought it on Amazon earlier this year, and it's pretty much been on my wrist most days if not every day. It's comfortable and durable, and I find some use for the stopwatch or timer function almost every day. It's a G-Shock. What more do I need to say, right?
In this post, though, I also wanted to share my most meaningful watches of the year. One's most special watch doesn't necessarily mean that they wear it the most, right?
My most meaningful watches of this year are the two watches that my dad owned and gave to me last Christmas—his old Seiko Kinetic and Wittnauer quartz diver.
Long story short, these watches didn't work for years and my dad just stashed them in his drawer. I was able to get them fixed this year, and I've worn both of these watches quite a lot since I got them up and running again. I'll be wearing one of these watches this Christmas, and that will be special.
