New Rado Captain Cook

Been looking to Purchase a new watch to add to my collection and this is my first one over £2000, was not sure at first as I do like open case backs to show off the movements. This watch was up against an Oris, but this one won today.

Underrated Brand, but an amazing watch and a beautiful dial!!

Those male end links are pretty darn long. Are they working in your favor or causing issues with how it sits?

·

Nice watch. I’ve been looking at those also. I really like the green

They sit quite well, they seem to wrap around, I know what you mean though. It’s comfortable on my 6.5 inch wrist. Only way to know if you like it is to go and try one 😜

They never had a green one to look at, they had a blue and the dials do pick up light differently. I think the green would pop quite well. Please post if you do get one ☺️

I could have gone for a Tudor or low end Onega but I did think I would give these a go. I do like the style of it. My only disappointment would be the lack of lume on the bezel, but this will not be worn for diving so not needed really, would have been nice for atheistic purposes

The Captain Cook is a really great watch.

Thank you. Do you think it has potential to make a little profit in the future or will it be a collectors item or is it too early to know?

·

·

This was the original limited edition Captain Cook in 37mm. It has depreciated pretty badly, like most other watches.
