Never too late to start the year with a watch that is not by my microbrand. Surprisingly, this is the first time this year I will be wearing a watch from a different company.
Given to me by my late grandfather, this Omega Constellation Pie Pan was one of two gold on gold dial watches I had in my collection (already sold the other one so this is now the only one). I would say, a not so favorite in my collection, but brings with it its own quirks.
Today, would be pairing this with a white polo shirt, bringing that Miami vibe with its solid 14k gold case and an aftermarket gold plated milanese bracelet.
I don't mind the dial blemishes and patina on the dial as this est. circa 1960s watch shows its life as a daily driver of my late grandfather. He wasn't very fond of watches, and always wore his Rolex till the day he died. But, at least he sure knows what good watches are.
