Seiko 7A28-7000 original version -Aliens Film - Giugiaro designed
Sporting my all original Aliens watch. Had this example a few years now and took it in trade for some service work on other watches. It needed a crown. The side housing,pushers and the chrono hand was bent. I straighten the hand and scoured the earth (without exaggerating) for the housing and buttons and found new old stock in USA but paid $200 for them. A steep price but would I ever find others…
I was able to get a crown from a friend and now all together I have an all original and practically unmarked Seiko Aliens watch. Stared in the film Aliens which made the watch famous and more valuable.
Was actually designed by Goirgetto Giugiaro famous for car designs. This was meant to be a driving watch so you can use the stopwatch easily .
However I’m left handed!!

Great looking watch, all the Seiko designs from that era by Giugiaro are cool and quirky looking. The affiliation with the best film in the Alians franchise also helps too 👍🏻
