Van Cleef and arpels vintage

So as some of you are aware I have decided that my last acquisition was a keeper a beautiful vintage Tudor, this means one of the vintage pieces has to go and I think it’ll be this one.
I honestly can’t find one like it and I’m aware that the dial may be a repaint but it is an interesting watch.

Any info is much appreciated and if anyone has any interest in it before i put it to the public let me know.

Im located in Devon in the southwest of the UK if anyone wants a closer look.

As I said I don’t know much about the watch but it’s running, keeping time but i don’t have any pull at the heart strings to keep her

I'm sorry, but that's another fake. The dial is an atrocious repaint, the case back is acid-etched.

The movement is an Adolf Schild (AS) cal.984.

It was a nice, but run of the mill piece from the 1940s, before someone turned it into an abomination. Has nothing to do with VC&A.

I knew the dial was horrible but thought the rest appeared to be of the right vintage. I received this one along with the moody Tudor. The final one I got in this deal is this and I am fully aware it’s had the same horrible repaint. I was going to try and source an original face for this one but if it’s as dubious as the other 2 I won’t bother. Thanks for your advice, I think I’ll be sticking with all the ones I can verify regardless if they are gifted to me

The dial looks repainted by schoolkids with ballpoints and a potato stamp.

Which is tragic as I think the over all design is nice

I have seen more believable HMTs.
