I have had this Sinn 556a for a little over a year. It was my first "luxury" watch buy and it was glued to my wrist for months. Since then I have added several other nice pieces and it isn't getting love it once did. I use diver bezels or chronos often to time things at work, and I miss that feature if I wear it during the week. Usually I want to wear something a little more fun on the weekends. I don't think Id ever sell it but I do feel bad that it sits. Anyone else that have that watch that they loved but now its collecting dust?

For sure. I have enough watches now that my first loves aren't getting as much wrist time as they once did.
My collection has a lot of pieces that are not highly desirable to a wide audience so hard to move on from them unless I gift them. Which I did 2x this week, oddly enough.
I realistically wear only a few of my watches, and most sit for weeks without being worn. The few watches that get worn changes over time, so watches that I haven't touched in weeks might end up being my go-to for a couple of weeks.
I don't personally worry about a watch not getting a lot of wear because I like the variety, and it costs me nothing extra to have a watch sit for a few weeks not being worn.
I like having certain features on a watch for my daily use too. But I use the evenings to appreciate my watches that may have fallen out of the main rotation, or are a bit less useful, and give them some wrist time. Lately I've been enjoying wearing the SARX055 in the evenings. It's too flashy for me to wear out in my old t-shirts, and doesn't have timing functionality, but I still like it. So relaxing in the evening is the best time to appreciate it. I find myself wearing the Arnie a lot at night too, and the Seagull 1963 (which I like, but isn't so great for actually keeping accurate time).
This post makes me a little bit sad. I own a 556A and it is hands down my favorite watch. On top of that it was a total impulse buy. Since owning the 556 I have purchased a Grand Seiko SBGX341 and Seiko SBBN035, and the 556 still gets way more wrist time. I am actually hesitant to buy anymore watches because I don't think I would wear them more than the 556. I can honestly say that I could sell all of my watches, and be perfectly happy just wearing the 556 for the rest of my life, I think it is that great of a watch.
