Wonder Woman's Watch 🦸‍♀️

I got this for my wife a little over a month ago. No special occasion. Just to reward her for being a badass.

The last year has been tough for her. New workplace and challenges with a couple of let's just call them (it's mainly one) uninclusive bitches. But she is very good at what she does, so she has risen in the ranks very fast (past the mean girls that have been there for years).

Her side of the family has been in massive continuous massive crisis the last six months, but she has kept up with us in the household, work and the gym through it all.

But this weekend it stopped 😶 It seemed like an empty battery. Since this is a very high precision quartz with hour jump function it also makes sense that the it has perpetual calendar. I went to the watchmaker first thing I this morning so there wouldn't be any issues with the calendar. I had to explain the movement to the watchmaker and give him a peptalk before he even gave it a try. I walked around town for three hours to have a simple battry change 😅 Ohwell, I'll do anything for my queen 👑

(Oh, I also tried on the solar titanium Aquaracer and it really impressed!!)

My wife have usually worn 38-40mm watches, not being interested in smaller ladies pieces. This being 34mm is her favorite now 😅 Maybe because it was a gift? So maybe find something small and bingy/elegant more like jewelry for your wife if she is into that kinda stuff?

She works in the hospital and she's not allowed to wear a watch! That's why she's not used to it and doesn't wear a watch at home.

Maybe I should give her a 30-36mm automatic and see what happens 😊

Good man! Gotta take of those ladies because they take such good care of us💪

Very similar to my wife, but she can rock a watch now that she is a leader 🥳

My wife is also in the management, but she love it to be on the Shopfloor… I think I get her a Watch, maybe for Christmas 😁

Nice! Great watch for great woman.

And, I know right?! That Aquatacer is awesome!

I understand those VHP movements are very tricky to reset. I hope everything goes well with it.

I’ve tried to get my wife to wear watches, but she just sticks with the Apple Watch… I even bought her a really nice quartz Sturmanskie Galaxy with mother of pearl dial about 10 years ago, it just sits in her drawer 🤷🏻

I read stories about people having their watches sendt back to Longines 😅 But it was in power save mode and if not you can change the date once forward/backwards, so it shouldn't be an issue either way. But I had to explain this to the guy.

But I didn't know for sure since my wife didn't remember the en of life ticking. But it all worked out.

Oh well... Such is life 😊 Doesn't she like any watches?

She likes my VE Almaz (that she bought me for a promotion back in 2016) and my incoming Spinnaker Hass and that’s it 🤣 she tells me that my Tissot SeaStar 2K is ugly, which is objectively incorrect (and I told her why she was wrong 🤣)

Why not give her one of the ones she likes? For dressy occasions?

They’re huge 😂

My wife has been rocking 38, 40 and the original yellow CasOak which is 45mm I believe. So don't let that be a hindrance!!

I’ll ask if she wants to wear the Almaz… it’s 46mm and solid bronze so she’ll get her weights in at the same time 🤣
