To swap or to keep
As some of you know I love my Blackbay heritage 41, I bought it back in August last year, however, before I could pick it up my AD called me and told me my watch had a problem, someone had Registered th guarantee on the watch by mistake and there was only 2 years left on it. As a consequence, they couldn't sell this particular watch to me. They were very good however and gave me the watch on loan and said they'd get me a replacement.
Two weeks ago they finally admitted they can't get the 79230n as new any more. To make up for this they've told me my name is in the top of the list for the new monochrome.
Now I have a quandary... stay with my heritage and get it at a reducedprice, or pay the extra and get the new monochrome. I won't deny I love my heritage blackbay... but a new watch...

Bought my first watch aged 12 when on holidays when all the other kids spent their money on sweets, I just wanted a watch.
Keep the watch and get the kickback from them! Nothing getting what you love for a better price! 😉

Go monochrome better watch, size & aethestics.
However if you really live the heritage and want to keep that, push back in the warrent issue.

The monochrome is way too blatant a sub homage, at least the heritage has a modicum of its own identity. And it's cheaper!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Keep what you have and enjoy it. You can always get the monochrome later once the market settles after the initial hype
I would get the new one, you’ve done had this one and enjoyed it all this time. Unless the deal and getting a good one is important to you if that’s the case then get the deal. Either way you have gotten a deal because you have had a nice watch on your wrist all this time. Good luck!
I think it depends which you like more. I personally prefer the heritage, but will conceed the new one has a better movement, and with the 5 link a better bracelet. I wear mine on a rubber strap anyway so it doesnt mean anything to me. If you can get a discount and you love it, go for it.
I think you need to answer only one question. Which do you prefer? I would try the monochrome on and then make my decision. But to be honest both are killer watches so there isn’t a bad choice. My preference would be for the monochrome but I like the black and gilt as well.
Just go with the watch you prefer.

I went to see the new Monochrome. I wasn't impressed at all. No presence, no soul. I'm keeping my original. Happy man.
