Mine was this Seiko SRPE53. The watch that in a way kicked off my love for watches which I have really come to appreciate. Although it's bracelet and power reserve are a bit shoddy ๐

Mine was a Seiko as well. It was an SNK809, followed shortly by an SKX013 which I still have.
Probably a Timex in the early 60's.
That was hundreds of watches ago.
Would you consider seiko kinetic as mechanical? Sadly its lost in time already, just a white dial seiko kinetic with batons indices.
I remember seeing adverts over buses when i was a kid and i was amazed how a watch that needs no batteries to run, i needed a watch to keep the time in exam so stormed into a local watch dealer and bought that.ย
Seiko5 in 1989ย
An inexpensive manual wind small dress type on a rally strap. Lost in the mists of time. Since then a 1940 RAF Movado that was my fatherโs. Between was a sea of quartz
Oris big crown pro pilot. Handsome watch but doesn't get as much wear as even my Seiko 5's these days
