Should I give up my Rolex dreams to buy a motorcycle to ride with my wife. But then have to settle and get a Tudor instead?

So for context my wife won this SuperCub. Now it’s sitting in my garage. But that leaves a new problem. I need something to ride with her.

Congrats. Is your wife going to keep and ride the SuperCub?

If so, hell yeah get a bike to ride around too.

If not, Rollie

·

Yeah, she is riding it to work

She’s been riding it. She is keeping it

·

Jump on the back with her and flex that Rollie 😂😂

·

I had to get the whole collection too for winning the motorcycle

Get the bike, more memories than any watch could give you.

Get the bike. Time with your wife sharing a hobby is invaluable. You take care of her and she’ll be ok with you getting a Rolex later.

Why does it have to be a Monkey?

Why does it have to be a Monkey?

I sold my Grom a few years back. I always wanted one. The new colors are amazing too

Can you lease a bike?

If not, depends what you are getting. If you're gonna get the bike shown in the photo, I say get a good watch. If you're gonna get a badass MV Agusta, a Harley or at least a BMW, then go for the bike. The point is, don't settle for crap. Go for the top sht in whichever direction you end up leaning.

more injuries too. speaking from experience of 4 knee surgeries after a minor accident ;)

·

My wife does all the driving. So I'd buy a side car and the Rolex. 😂

Yes, you must always spend as much money as possible. Even if you really want a particular thing, buy a different thing that costs more. You don’t want people thinking you’re some kind of poor, do you?

·

Update. I bought the Monkey. I pick it up today.

I have had a XR650, V65 magna, V65 Saber. nighthawk 750

·

oh, I have a NC750x and a CBR 500r. Why did you decide to downsize?

Oh, and the Tudor was the right decision.

I had a Grom a few years ago. I miss selling it. They are fun

You should always have at least one motorcycle.

·

The Rolex will last way longer than a bike.

I (wife) learned to ride and the Monkey is the perfect size for my short legs. This way we can both ride it and it’s a good bike to teach our daughter on bc she can be flat footed.

·

1000% the bike.

Ride it, build skills, explore and go on adventures with your wife. The rolex is awesome, but life is out there waiting for you.

·

Get the bike, have great biking adventures with your wife and the Tudor on your wrist. Every time you look at your watch you will be remembered of unique moments together with your wife. AND you show your wife that spending time with her is more important to you than your grail watch.

OR

Get your Rolex, your wife just rides the bike to work and sells it eventually. Every time you look at your watch you will ask yourself how it it would have been if you had decided otherwise.

That's exactly what they do in certain parts of the world LOL

Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, etc.
