It's not one of those watches you keep for the next generation. It will last the time it lasts. It's a nice summer watch.
Replacing the entire movement is likely the option of it breaks.
I just received mine... I think there is a world of difference between an ST-1901 that passes quality controls like those found in these watches, and those that are from auctioned off reject bins you can find in $200 watches on AliExpress.
Mine seems to run at +5 a day and alignment is fine. Chronograph hand hits the mark on reset. Can't talk about long term reliability yet.
It's not the cheapest out there, but it's a mechanical chronograph with a unique design and is still well below $1000.
Peace sign might be a little too much. I liked the highlife on wrist, but hated the earth/sphere dial. This is a step in the right direction.
