Great choice. Tough to go wrong wit a Hamilton and an 80 hour power reserve is an added bonus. I've never had a problem with  a Hamilton.

I'm not sure it it's your style, but the Scurfa Treasure Seeker looks like a lot of watch at the low end of your budget.

The Tissot PRX offers great bang for the buck, especially if you like the integrated bracelet look.

I’ve seen those they are cool but if I’m going to spend 5-700 I want something I really like

I'd also look at Christopher Ward.  A whole lot of watch for the money.

I love Hamilton watches. the only Dow fault is the strap. It is poorly made. may need an aftermarket one.

Alot of watches have that problem lol For Now i went with the citizen promaster ny0040 brand new from ebay it’s discontinued but a great everyday beater watch. I’ll save up for a 1500-2000 watch

Anything from Swatch group will mechanically be sound, aesthetics is up to you. (Tissot, Mido, Certina, Hamilton)

Swatch is not my flavor or style. I have a Gshock that has lasted me12 years and still going.
