Looking for Falcon Series II or similar

Anyone selling a Lorier Falcon Series II? I haven’t found anything similar and the Series III dial is a bit boring in my opinion. If you know of a good alternative (that’s also under $1,000), let me know.

For reference, aspects of the Lorier I like the most are:

  • 36mm case size

  • Textured dial (gives a matte feel, I don’t like shiny or sunburst dials)

  • Slim profile (under 11mm)

One of the 3 variants of the Serica Field Chronometer may interest you:

These show up pretty regularly for resale @ 350-450- I suggest using an aggregate site such as watchrecon.com and set up an alert. It monitors sites such as r/watchexhange on reddit, watchuseek, and others. You can search it or just register for free and assign an alert whenever one comes up.

The Nivada with the brown dial looks pretty cool, definitely a potential purchase

The white dial is beautiful!

Agreed WatchRecon.

There were some on ebay earlier this week actually. Both SII's.

I've got one with a black dial. Good watch for the money. The case profile is a highlight and it pairs well with a heap of straps and bracelets.

I've got a few Loriers too - but not the Falcon. Also good watches.

Serica probably top the quality out of the three brands but all of them are good for the price imo.

Good luck.

I prefer the dial on SII as well. Lorier typically does a nice job taking inspiration from many pieces and creating a unique watch that feels familiar… but SIII felt surprisingly too close to a Smiths Everest for me.
