Lacoste Watches

Hey everyone,

Has anyone owned a Lacoste Timepiece? I was looking at a few and found they are actually quite nice-looking. They are in my budget, so I was thinking of picking one up.

Thoughts?

Please, dont buy that cheap china 💩 save your money and buy something with value. So in a view years you Look at that watch and say "l still Love it". At that time the Lacoste💩is in the trashbin.

Oh no those are not worth more than 60 bucks.

Buy these watches instead:

Casio Duro a way better bargain and more water resistance.

No worries. The main point is for you to not over pay for fashion watches. If you find fashion watches at a bargain like $60 or less you are not inflicting too much damage to your wallet. Once you hit the 100+ that's when it starts to get murky because the movement probably costs 2 dollars and the case 5 bucks to make and they charge a grip for the brand. 200 bucks is enough to get a decent watch so if you need suggestions the folks here can always come up with suggestions.

No, I really appreciate it. I am still really new to this, so I appreciate all the help I can get.

As you are new to collecting there’s a bit of a learning curve.

Really whatever you like it’s your money and your business. We that comment just don’t want to see people spend money on eye candy fashion watches that fall apart in a year. Many great watches can be had for relatively little.

You can’t really go wrong with Casio or Timex. Just quality and heritage as they’ve done it for years. Casio as little as $15 and Timex around $35.

A good way to get into automatic watches is with Seiko or Orient (owned by Seiko).

You can buy Seiko5 autos for as little as about $90. They will last you years and are timeless. Many variations from dress to sport. Good luck building your collection.
