I do like your G10! I had forgotten that 19year old, 2nd Lt me, had one in 1989. Had to give it back when going into full time naval service, which eventually meant Seiko Gen 1 and then 2. Many moons later I had to give that back too! Only the military after many years of service, don't give a watch but actually want one from you! Lol.
Great reminiscence of your service. And part of the reason of getting this watch was that connection. It’s the only quartz I have. That and a solar. All the rest mechanical. Great accuracy in the G10 and should be a straight battery swap
