Headed to Singapore

I am about to take the 24 journey from Texas to Singapore and will be there for a few weeks. I have watched all the top 10 places to watch shop in Singapore videos on YouTube but wondered if anyone here has any recommendations? I think this trip I will be on the hunt for Asia only Seiko divers but maybe also looking for some tax free items that are maybe boutique only releases from all the brands.

Welcomes to the little red dot, brother!

Ooh, finally my watch knowledge comes to fruition! Here are some options and can share more depending on what you are after.

Boutiques and ADs:

Marina Bay Sands - houses the casino, so you better expect some great watch boutiques there! A massive GS boutique, all the usual patek, vacheron, Rolex, JLC, RM, SHH (Sincere Haute Horology ie high end independents), etc.

ION mall in Orchard, shopping mall heaven or hell depends who you ask- patek, Rolex, Lange (only one in Singapore! Tell Karen or Keith, the manager, that Jake sent ya), vacheron, Tudor, omega, red army watches has some more affordable ones (saw the pokemon watches and the Oris Kermit there recently), L'Atelier by the hour glass has high end independents like FPJ, Ressence, etc.

Next to ION is Wisma Atria, Norqain I'll call out bc surprised to see that there.

Nex to Wisma is Ngee Anm City - there are a bunch, but check out Sincere Fine Watches, they have a back room with some beautiful independents or less popular brands like Armin Strom, some GPs, Richard Mille:s son that launched that Invicta sounding company name.

Independent grey market shops

Far East Plaza on Scotts road not too far from ION has 3-4 grey market shops. Goldman luxury and two others I think on second floor and The Time Co on 5th floor run by a young dude. Nice selection in the stores.

Calibre 65 on Syed Alwi Road. Random location, but cool place to chill and chat about watches. The owner opened this as his passion project and he's an airline pilot by day. He has some nice pieces. Smaller selection, but the owner Gautamann is a cool dude.

Watch box has a place somewhere one station down from orchard , can google. They have baller watches, but if it's anything like HK, it's not technically open to the public but can go there and view their watches.

There are definitely other non-fancy malls (ie cheaper rent) that have grey market dealers.

Not forgetting Gnomon watches at their Millenia Walk (closest MRT station is Promenade), as well as their latest boutique at Wheelock Place (along Orchard road).

Shop, shop,…….

You need to spend an afternoon at Raffles bar drinking slings and stomping on peanut shells

Go to the top of the marina bay and use the infinity pool…

Do the tree walk in the gardens damn there’s so many good things to see like most iconic cities but oh go on then, visit a dealer 😉😂
