Thanks @CheapHorologer I totally agree the digital space is ripe for a shake up. Key to this will would be being able to offer a watch at an affordable price point, which is against the current costs of 3D printing. Never heard of Devo's hat but a quick google and I see what you mean ;)

ha thanks @OldSnafu this has come up by others, in its current form there is no resistance as I just stole the module from an old casio. Long term goal would be to have a self inclosed module that you could swap out and put into other case designs.
Not offence taken @henrik_ln this is why I posted, thanks for the feedback, and not something I had considered. I guess I am going for 'design' over multiple function with the goal of wanting to create a super minimal, clean design as I can. The proportions deff seems to be a consistent theme so work to be done :)
