What strap are you putting on this bad boy?

I was thinking a white rubber strap for summer.

Red to match the seconds hand.

I think it’s orange technically. But I like the idea

I some times have trouble with shades of color particularly on a screen but I am glad you get the gist of my idea. You probably would want to have the watch on hand to try and match the color as best as possible. I just feel it would work somehow.

Silver Mesh or Milanese

I’d have the colour of the seconds hand in it looks like the Gulf racing colours

I went for brown but thought id elaborate - a sand brown fabric strap would completely change the watch with the near opposite sides of the colour wheel in colour theory being opposite blue and yellow. Could even go for a sandy tweed style strap.

Also i know you said alternates for leather but i do think it would look best with a light reddy brown smooth leather strap… or mesh haha

To add a little, I pretty much stick to NATO styles because I need a larger than average length. Recently was intrigued by Barton's Silicone Elite (as it comes with two of the hole side pieces, one of which is long and fits!) I ordered a batch (ironically only one of the Elite series) and was super impressed with it! For sure some summer action!

So, from that collection, a couple options to toss into the mix:

Look carefully, you can find a rather nice tapered one they do. Can't remember if it was one of the German or far Eastern ones , but you'll find it. Think I paid around £100ish, give or take £20. Certainly worth the premium.

I would suggest trying to color match the second hand and find an orange Nato or similar nylon strap for the summer. It's a colorful watch so a colorful band really works imho. Enjoy the watch (and summer) 😎🔥
