I like options. Cruelty free products are welcome, and their quality are getting better. However, the feel and pliability of animal leathers are distinctive and superior, for now. I’d love to see both markets progress in quality and ethical resourcing.

I've tried a lot of leather alternatives, pineapple, appleskin, cork, and numerous synthetic materials - by far the "best" are Artem Sailcloth straps and Colareb Alcantara.

If it matters to a vegan or vegetarian, then I think it’s Worth doing one’s research on. Since I am neither, regular leather
