Animal Leather v. Vegan Leather

That's the whole post. What're your thoughts? I think if I am paying a premium for a good watch, give me real leather.

I’m curious about cactus leather.

·

If it didn’t come from an animal, it’s not leather.

Just like milk doesn’t come from almonds. Or oats.

🙂

Vegan "leather" is like turkey "bacon." A LIE!

As i Don t like leather Straps...i m voting for Rubber:-D

I like options. Cruelty free products are welcome, and their quality are getting better. However, the feel and pliability of animal leathers are distinctive and superior, for now. I’d love to see both markets progress in quality and ethical resourcing.

If it matters to a vegan or vegetarian, then I think it’s Worth doing one’s research on. Since I am neither, regular leather

Veggie since 1982, leather & animal product free since late 90's.

I've tried a lot of leather alternatives, pineapple, appleskin, cork, and numerous synthetic materials - by far the "best" are Artem Sailcloth straps and Colareb Alcantara.

Generally prefer NATO or Stainless steel.
