Watch News?

What's your preferred source for new/coming watch releases and related information? Preferably without too many bought opinion pieces and manufactured hype, but I understand that might be too much to ask for.

I’ve got the Hodinkee app and follow a few youtubers and that works okay for me, and a lot of independents have news alerts for upcoming realeases, so I subskribera to my favourite indies as well.

Any YouTubers you recommend? I follow a few, but most just seem to be guys posting reviews with affiliate links to AliExpress from their basements.

Well first obviously there’s WatchCrunch that’s a good one. Teddy Baldassarre is another good choice, he doesn’t take money from the brands he looks at, he is an AD with hus own store but he reviews microbrands that he doesn’t deal in so you’ll get a fair description from him. @AndrewMorgan is another one to follow, as well as his other channel Watchfinder. And for the most affordable brands I’d check out @benswatchclub and Just One More Watch. Sometimes JOMW is sponsored by a brand or shop but he’ll let you know that, and I haven’t had an issue with what he’s said. @MWC2020 has the Mad Watch Collector Channel and that’s a lot of fun as well as another good source if info on affordable brands.

There’s plenty of other decent youtubers but those are the ones that I watch the most.

WatchCrunch seems to have rapidly shot to the No1 position and YouTube is always a favourite.

Big shout out to Jodi at Just One More Watch
