Starter Watch Collection
My little cousin is off to college and I would like to send him on in style (on a budget). What is the best starter watch collection for a total of $150 (2 - 4 pieces)?
Hes goong to be a freshman playing ball, no NIL deal yet so no.money but I want to help and keep him somewhat stylish while hes walking around in shorts and sweats for the next year.

... I think at that price point I would just get him 1 watch. Maybe a G-Shock square or a Seiko DressKX
I would suggest a G Shock DW5600 for sports and something like a Seiko 5 SNK model. There are still a lot of them available. You should be able to get these two for $150.

Yeah, Worldtimer / Duro covers a lot of bases and is under 100 for both, would be cool to get the kid an automatic too though.

Both Orients I mentioned have automatic
movements and you can get them on Jomashop for less than $200.
