Beginner's Collection: 1 Month Update

As you can see, im definitely an affordable watch collector, and I'm also just starting to build my collection. I love casios and seikos, but I also plan on purchasing pieces from other brands such as Orient, Tissot, Citizen, and Hamilton soon. My first automatic watch (the seiko 5 in the top row) has made me want to get more mechanicals watches, and I already know which ones I want to get next. I look forward to purchaing open hearts, skeletons, and watches with clear case backs, because the movement of a mechanical watch is so fascinating to me. Also, both of the seikos I currently own are vintage pieces that are older than me! It feels so cool to wear them on my wrist; a timepiece that has lived longer than me, kept in beautiful condition, and still running extremely accurately to this day. More vintage and mechanical watches coming soon!Drop your collections in the comment section below, I'd love to see yours, hear your thoughts, or maybe even find some inspiration!

Ah, Neat! I made a few stumbles when i first started with watch collecting, but I think I have a good system right now

The MTP at the upper right corner has had my interest for a while.

Not a popular Casio, but I really like it.

Individual watches need to be made from steel or titanium, need to have at least 100m of water resistance, have to have hand winding and second hacking (if mechanical), Should have metal bracelets or have metal bracelets available on the secondary market (Although I'm willing to break this rule for cool watches)

Watch collection is done in sets of three. Each set must consist of three different colourways (Black dial with steel and black dial with two tone metal count as different colourways). Each set must consist of a basic watch (aka, a GADA watch, although I like more pilot-y dial faces than most), A watch with a external rotatable bezel (Dive watch, slide rule, or GMT watch for example), and a watch with a interesting complication (Mostly watches with chronographs at this point, but Set 3 is going to get a Seiko Alpinist for this slot).

Set 1 was my work watch set, which consists of a Pagani Design Air King Homage that I actually love dearly, a two tone Casio Duro with a two tone jubilee bracelet, and a blue Casio Edifice with internal slide rule and chronograph.

Set 2 has a JDM Citizen Promaster Land with blue dial and titanium case/bracelet, and my first watch that I was actually happy to own which is a Bulova Devil Diver in neon orange, and a Black dialed Seiko Flightmaster in quartz.

Set 3 so far just has a Seiko 5 GMT in black, but I plan on getting a Seiko Alpinist in green, and a Tissot Gentleman in blue.

Set 4 is just going to be a Mido Oceanstar GMT in blue, a modded bluetooth/tough solar Casioak, and a Casio Calculator watch, because I only plan on having a 12 watch collection.

(The watches I put back into their boxes don't count.)
