Timex Marlin 1960’s 34 mm

Does anyone know of a Timex Marlin 34 mm alternative?

I’m so torn because the silver dial Timex Marlin vintage is so beautiful but WAY too small for me. If they made it in 38mm I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Timex does have a 40mm automatic Marlin as well. Sea Gull makes some nice 38mm-40mm hand-winding dress watches that are similarly priced to the 34mm Marlin.

I'm sure anyone would realize that 34mm is a perfectly cromulent size, but how about an HMT Janata?

Shop the ladies watches now, for some reason 38mm and under are ladies watches.

Orient has a new 38mm Bambino model that might tickle your fancy!

@nichke spot on!

Funnily enough I'm wearing the 34mm silver Marlin right now. It's like a time machine straight back to the 60s. I find it wears very nicely. Looks more like a 36mm because it's all dial and light coloured.

Watch size is a curious and very subjective thing. For a long time I tried to work out the perfect size for me and realised there was no such thing. I've made my peace with a range from around 30mm (there are tons of 40s and 50s fantastic vintage men's watches like that) to a max of 42mm, provided the lug to lug, lug angle and thickness mean that the watch doesn't overhang my wrist or start digging into the back of my hand. I've found 30-38mm works best for me. 6.5" wrist.

Beautiful. One of the best and most faithful reissues. I have a similar 60s Intra-matic in gold and have to say Hamilton did a spectacular job bringing the Intra-matic line back to life.
