New Old Watch Alert - Vintage Omega
Picked up this on eBay in terrible condition - water damaged, movement working but the crown was unable to change the time, day or date. A new crystal, service and an eye-watering $650 AUD later she’s running like a dream. Very happy with it on a crisp new leather strap. I think it’s from the early 70’s but if anyone else knows more about this model would love to know. My first Omega!

I found this online. It confirms your estimate of 1970s, with a build year between 1972 - 1973.

I bought the same watch but in gold plate, that was way back c1978 in a watch shop in Kuwait City, I’ve still got it looks greatl & keeps time to a few seconds a day. They aren’t worth a great deal but it’s a classic dress watch you can keep forever,well done.

That s awesome thanks for sharing! Yeah I didn’t have a dress watch and this was only $500 AUD so I thought it would be cooler to get something vintage and get it working again. Love the gold plate 👌🏼
