Beautiful… is it a DIY? It is awesome💯!!!

I keep mine in watch boxes, 24 slots each. I have a smaller 20 slot box for watches that I'm going to sell or wear frequently. I need another 24 slot box, though. As for organization, my wife helps me sort them by strap/bracelet and dial color. I also keep an inventory sheet in Excel.

My buddy is a cabinet maker and I asked him to make one for me. Had it customized to my liking on dimensions and even with a personal engraving.

When travelling, I use my Mirage 3-slot roll. ☕️

I've gone from wooden watch boxes, handmade leather rolls, canvas rolls etc to finally landing on this....

A big, red, tool box 🤣

It's cost me a fraction of the money I've spent on all the other countless options which were always too fidly. Plus in the draws I can fit all my straps, all my spares and watch tools.... sometimes I underestimate my genius....🤣

Now I know what the tool boxes were meant to be ...😂

I have a watchwinder that keeps 4 watches wound, and you can put them another half dozen or so on the side. Have been running out of space lately though...

·

Watch boxes have often empty slots which push you to buy more. Or the box is full and with the next watch you open a new box with many empty slots. I decided to go with an open space concept :)

Er… via chaos mainly. I need more storage or to offload some. Don’t do this.

As for me I have this watchbox that I found on etsy made by the DomikShop when my collection was smaller. I can say the build is solid and interior is splendid especially with this color lining. This layout everything is easy to access and extra slots on the side are nice for accessories or watch tools is something that I considered when buying storage for my watches. If interested they also have watch boxes without the glass as well, custom engraving is encourage.

Currently looking for a good box myself at this point. My collection has grown a bit too much to just leave all of it in a cheap box.

·

Mine can fit 12 watches. 8 occupied. Mine though has a glass top so I can pick one before opening it.

·

I purchased a bunch of boxes like these for I think $1.50 each, and just have them stacked in drawers, with the boxes open, so I can see them all. It's great for when I travel, because I can just grab whatever ones I want to bring with me, and they are already in a travel box.

I picked up this really affordable, yet good quality watch box from Tawbury recently on Amazon. I posted a review of it for anyone wanting more details:

I’m in the middle of moving so they are all over the floor (and there are more besides this) but here you go!

if you have a smaller collection ta a look at these. Best compromise I’ve found between those crappy $30 Amazon/EBay boxes and the multiple hundreds of $$ higher end boxes.

solid wood, felt liner and nice hardware. Not advertising for them I’ve just spent years and way too much on boxes so I know what a pain it is to find nice ones.

Some winders and a watch case (amazon) in a modest safe.  As not fireproof I was able to run power in for the winders through an unused mounting hole.  Couple of winders outside for convenience.  The Ecodrive watches are just sitting on the window sill eating up what limited sunlight March in the UK has to offer.

The safe is merely to slow down/stop opportunist thieves.  The collection doesn't warrant a major security effort.

Smart, I really like the winders set up inside. I’ve been considering getting a safe as I’m moving into an apartment complex. I may steal your idea!

great organization, thanks for sharing…

Pelican style waterproof foam box with two layers so you can have a second group underneath. For what it is worth you can put a lock on it.

·

My watches are not permitted to be visible, so I have them in a case.

Image
·

If I had three watches worth something I would get one of these Peli cases.

Image

For the moment sticking with a cheap Amazon case more fitting to the value of the watches inside!

·

Great topic, with great replies.

I made a promise to:

  1. display my collection
  2. limit my collection

So I purchased this 30 Piece Wall Hanging Display Case. Once it's full, I must get rid of something to add new.

I just started selling these watch rolls recently after almost a year spent getting all the details just right.

Right now we’re still in the super early stages and only have black 3 watch rolls, but more colors and options are coming soon.

If anyone wants to get their hands on one I’ll be happy to work out a special ”WATCH CRUNCH” price!
