Tips on Tipping???

I just reserved an IWC Mark XX from my local IWC store in LA—arrives in 9 days and counting... 😀

Since this is my first jump into the luxury end of watches, was curious if tipping the salesman is customary.

Nope, nope, nope. The spread on that IWC is around 40% and to @HotWatchChick69’s point, they are already getting a commission.

I have one exception to the rule, in that around the holidays, where I tend to get a Rolex, I give my SA, who I’ve been working with for a years, a nice bottle of something or a gift card for him and his wife. I’d like to think it helps my allocations.
