I would go with the Christopher Ward but not the 12. I think the Sealander series is a better option.

From this 4, I'd go with the Formex.

Best for what? Best for whom? Sub 1500$ is a very broad category with some pretty heavy hitters from microbrands but macro brands also. Also, I would exclude the HKM from your list because it has no AR (but if you like it, you may be able to move past it, I couldn't)

Hmm best in general i guess, i wanna make 8 groups of 4 watches and make it like a tournament style lol

Formex and CW give you so much more watch for your money than Hami.

Agreed, but i feel like these days formex are falling behind other leading microbrands such as monta, cw, and farer. Their watch might be soo good, but their catalogue is essentially just the essence and reef

That's more of an aesthetical judgement. I also prefer the design language of CW and Farer over Formex, or most micros for that matter. Formex have incredible build quality but other than the Essence I'm not a fan of their designs.

Sinn 556 and Oris Big Crown Pointer Date are some of the best options in this price range

There's plenty of watches in that price range. In your list, the most beautiful is the Murph, so it would be my choice. Im less of a fan of the expedition. I also own a PRX so I'm less tempted by another integrated bracelet. The Formex brand in general never really appeal me, their designs are not for me.

I have a Formex Essence and a CW Sealander. IMO the Formex is the much better watch apart from the CW’s excellent on the fly adjustment clasp which is far better than the Formex on the fly adjustment clasp. The CW12 has a integrated bracelet with a butterfly clasp with no adjustment which makes it a pass for me and also the dial doesn’t appeal.

IMO Formex is a tier above Hamilton with better fit and finish and a better more interesting dial. I don’t like the compass bezel on the expedition. I do like the Murph though and would probably get one but it would sit in a similar space as my Hanhart Preventor9.
