I purchased my Seiko5 SNK805 about five years ago. It's mighty little engine (7s26 movement) has been running continuously since then.😎

My first “nice” watch came from my fly fishing hobby. Before Orvis became a clothing store in the mall they made incredible fly rods and reels. I loved their stuff and when I found an Orvis watch at my local dealer, I had to have it. Still have it and I even wear it from time to time even though its much too small for my current tastes. I’ve thought about putting it on a Bund to give it a little more wrist presence.

My 4 year old is wearing mine to school today. Fully expect it to get lost.

After starting in the railway I wanted my first real mechanical watch after a diet of casios, when the limited edition ( 400 pieces) mechanical mondaine arrived back in 2012 I couldn't resist, Swiss railway box ticked and my collection has grown since.
