Junghans Max Bill Automatic

Just got my new Junghans Max Bill Automatic 38 mm. Ive noticed that the automatic rotor inside is quite noisy. Anybody else notice this?

Yes, this is a rather noticeable watch in that regard. Have the same experience

Congratulations it’s an instant classic! Think of the noise as a part of the charm. It’s normal.

That dial is just perfect. I don't think I've ever really noticed a rotor when it's on the wrist. If it bothered me that much I'd simply remove it and wear it as a hand wind.

I think this is my favorite Junghans. Just simple and elegant

Yeah, the rotor is noisy. You cant really notice when you are outside, and the watch is on the wrist, but in a quiet place, the rattle and rotation from the automatic rotor is noticeable.

I love that dial, especially how the minute hand and the secondhand tip towards the edge curving around the dial.

Same thoughts here. This thing is an icon.

Love it! I have the date on black strap. Yes, it is noisy but only if I’m listening for it.

I have the PVD/No numerals variant. I love this watch. I consider it to be the perfect dress watch. I don't wear it tons, because its a dress watch and u don't dress often, but when I do wear it I'm always wowed by it. And no, I don't particularly remember it being noisy, but some are Salletas and some are ETAs, so maybe that's a factor.

Mine was also noisy. Made me consider picking up the quartz version in the future.

·

Mine had a hard to turn crown as well. Stil, the dial is stunning

·

Yep caseback and case itself are really thin. So it tend to be louder than some other watch. I like the smaller manual wind even more. 🤓

·

I guess some people were complaining about noise as well. Junghans has very slim profile and case back is very thin

The crown is hard to turn on mine, too. Still a gorgeous watch, but a bit of a pain to wind if I let it sit too long.

Same here, the crown is hard to turn on mine as well. I guess this is a feature of ETA automatic movements.
