I agree, the dial is simply boring. Minimalism gone too far. Looks like a self-made watch. I'd prefer very subtle hour markers. And without a seconds hand, it would be more elegant.
Nevertheless, I wish Jeff a lot of fun and joy with it.
Very nice watch, amazing patina. You can wear it also casual. Vintage beats the current models in class, elegance, and understatement.
