If I had a gold diver, I would totally dive with it (so long as it was insured). When I did dive a lot (pre-computer era) I often wore my 1990 Rolex Submariner. When diving last summer I didn't hesitate to take my modern Omega Seamaster. Watches are meant to be used. I tend to think that a lot of folks on Watch Crunch are a little too conservative with how they wear their watches.
What the watch is built for matters more than material. The engineering and materials in the case design and build. Yes, GS 413 is pricey, I think retail is more than some cheaper 2tone Swiss watches. But I take it running, cycling, swimming in ocean and pool, and kayaking. It's a 100m screw crown and bomb proof spring drive movement. The weakest point is going to be spring bars so I do pay attention to quality there. Preference for Seiko Fat bars when I think the chance of a trip to the bottom of the briney deep is too likely. (4x increase strength for 2x increase size)

I did once lose a watch while diving so a straight out no.
I would not wear anything I couldn’t afford to or would be really unhappy to lose while diving.
Your pic looks like a gold tone Seiko which I would happily wear diving.
I wouldn’t buy a gold dive watch nor any gold tool watch. I think gold or other precious metals are for dress watches.
No, because I don't like gold. Otherwise then yes, why not ?! 👍🏻
No problem here with it. Same specs isuslly as their steel counterparts.
Only if I want it banged up on a dive boat! 😂
You'd take a dive (gold or not) watch DIVING!!! are you mad😱😆

My last dive was with a Ploprof... Guess I am mad! Lol......
You can go down 16000 feet with a $15 Casio.

Depends on how much I spent on it 😂
