Best Neutral Dress Dial Color

There are plenty of amazing dial colors for my dress watches. My only dress is a grand seiko sbgw287 burgundy dial but I also want to add a white dial in the future due to how clean, crisp, and proper they are. However I find most dress dials (not counting the many different colors of GS) are usually white, silver, black, and blue. Cream/eggshell/off white is also a great one too, I'd lump that in with white Obviously there's green and salmon too which I find stunning, but im going for the more neutral colors here. What's your preferred dress dial color of the four? Pictures are of examples, not actual watch choices. Pardon the same use of the DJ36 and JLC ultra thin moonphase. Those are my two favorite dress pieces in my grail range.

Can’t go wrong with any but I personally prefer white dial for a dressy watch on a black leather strap.

Absolutely nailed it. I feel that's the most proper/formal combo.

A white dial can have either a black or brown strap and that will pair with virtually any outfit.

Fair point. I find brown strap perfect if you are wearing a sweater or a colored suit. Black strap for sure when a black suit or black sweater.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, I respectfully agree to disagree.  I give you Exhibit A:

I think it depends on the level of "dressiness" desired.

For a dress watch to be used during the day with business attire, I don't think you'd go wrong with any of them, and they could be paired with either a nice strap or a nice bracelet.

For a dress watch for use at somewhat formal events out of an office setting, my favorite is a simple black dial with gold hands, in a gold case and paired with a leather strap. I haven't had much need for a formal dress watch for quite some time, so I make do with the Movado Museum quartz watch I had before I started getting into watches. It's not real gold, but it looks good in my opinion, and at only 5.5mm thin, slips easily under any cuff.
