Aqua Terra 7 Months STRAIGHT (Review)

Okay, i got this watch on May 16th of this year and have not worn any other watch since i got it. Literally. It has been with me for seven months straight. Am i living the one watch collection life? I think so.

There are many things i love about this watch and only a few things i dont love.

Lets break it down:

DESIGN: Overall, this watch checks every box for me. It is refined enough for formal wear, i have to wear a suit every for work.

The aqua terra is also sporty enough to wear with jeans and a tshirt, i mainly need this because i am clumsy enough to need water resistance and shock resistance, haha! THE GREEN DIAL, OH THE GREEN DIAL. i have been seeking one out for a few years and this nailed it.

SIZE: 38mm is a size that i wish more brands would utilize, it fits perfectly on my 7.25 inch wrist without looking dainty or too large. Not much to say other than that, perfection

MOVEMENT: This is my favorite part, this watch consistently sits at +1-2 seconds per day. I set it every couple months and the changes are minor. The magnetic and shock resistance keep me confident no matter what im doing. I have travelled internationally, done light diving with it, river rafted, ridden motorcycles, and everything in between. It never misses a beat. The only drawback is that it does not have a travel function, i really wish it had hour jumping :(

BRACELET: The bracelet is gorgeous and comfortable. Half the time i forget the watch is on my wrist, the polished center links dont bother me because i dont mind scratching my watch. The downside is the butterfly clasp, i was able to get a perfect fit for how i like my watches, but i understand that not everyone will be able to.

This watch has been, invariably, the watch that i reach for every day. I dont wear my longines, tudor, or rolex anymore. It hits every mark for me and i am considering selling everything else. (This watch has a sentimental element to it also.) I may have found my one watch forever. If it sounds like im gushing, its because i am.

  • Movement, unbelievable accuracy and robustness
  • Its f***** gorgeous
  • 150m water resistance
  • Perfect for any occasion
  • Bracelet: not everyone can get a perfect fit
  • No hour jumping like 41mm Aqua Terras
  • Lume is strong, but the plots are too small

That sounds like Nirvana. May we all aspire to get there. Congratulations.

Great review. I have a 41mm At on a 7.25 wrist and love mine as well. Agreed on the movement, I have also experience near perfect accuracy only being plus or -1 to 2 seconds even over a few days time. The only other two watches in my collection that are more accurate is my Grand Seiko snowflake, and my only quartz watch if you don’t count the grand Seiko, which is a full metal casioak.

That’s a great looking watch, I can easily see how you’d wear it all the time.

You should probably give those watches to a needy person who hasn’t found the perfect one watch collection yet. Me for instance😂

The AT is as close to perfect as it gets and this version is no different.

Great review, I just brought a AT 41mm and agree is such a versatile watch. The steel bracelet which scratches easily bothered me so I swapped for a blue leather strap which looks cool and has a great fit. I think the AT is often overlooked and is a great looking watch with a fantastic movement!
