Strap change - Casio A700W

I recently acquired the Casio A700W, and I really like it, though its small size initially surprised me. My general preference is for a watch with a larger face, and my wrist size (7.25 inches) can accommodate larger watches. I'm all cool with the A700W's smaller size now, though. One thing I did not care for so much, however, was the metal band that came with the watch. Checking out some videos on YouTube, I quite liked the look of the watch with its metal band swapped out for a resin band such as the one used on Casio's F91W. While a genuine Casio band will set you back $10-$15, essentially the cost of a new F91W, similar bands are readily available from AliExpress at a nominal cost (like $1.98). So, I opted for the cheaper band, and after a short wait, I received it. I think it looks great, and boy is this watch easy to wear! It weighs nothing, and looks like it came out of a jewel box!

Nice looking Casio, just wondered if you have seen the larger digit models out there?, still with that vintage vibe like the W-217H-9AVCF

Or the B650WD-1AEF

I have inherited a shed load of old watches, nearly all dead quartz from the 80s and 90s. Quite a few small casios amongst them. Lots of the straps are knackered. Having read your post I shall look on aliexpress for replacements so thank you!

Not familiar with them. Easy to get confused with the many models Casio has. I like both of these, but prefer the silver one, though I would swap out the metal band. 😀
